Asking for Prayers

Been a while - and a struggle during most of the time - to post here, lately.  Believe me - heavy reasons have been the cause.  Our plate at this house is running over with concerns at this time.

My health issues continue.  Trying to find out what is wrong - continues.  My calendar is punched all the way into December - already - schedules for tests and consults.

However - there is a much more urgent issue lingering under our roof.  And at this time - we ask for prayers.

ExpressJet Airlines, Inc. ( aka - Continental ExpressJet, Inc. ) has been sold to SkyWest / ASA.  Changes are being made in various areas of the company.  Dwayne and I are very concerned about the security of his position with the company - which he has been employed by for over 18 years.

My husband and I - both - have put in a great deal of time - commitment - and sacrifice of our personal lives in order to hold his position with the company at the top of our list of priorities.

I have spent almost - every holiday - alone at home - while he worked.  We have no family in Tennessee - other than our daughter, Jennifer.

I can’t tell you exactly how many times I have considered pushing Dwayne into allowing us to take in foster children - just to fill my home with warm bodies - just to have someone to share the holidays with - just to have memories to hold inside my heart.

Anyway - we are hoping and praying that all the hard work - commitment - effort - and cost-effective contributions my husband has made over the course of his time with the company - will be acknowledged and appreciated - enough that the company will decide to keep him on the team.

Any offers of prayers are greatly appreciated.

You're in my prayers! I hope you get some answers soon and a solution to what is going on!

I'm so sorry you are having this worry on top of your health problems. I've been worring about you when I had a moment to think and hoping you were ok. Sorry you haven't found out what is wrong with you, but hope you can soon. I will pray for you both, that your hubby can keep his job or at least find a new one that pays enough and that you can start feeling better! Hang in there.

Hugs,
Deb
