Pretty with A Bad Disposition

Looks pretty - huh.

It's not. This is the view from our back porch. We can see all the way to Cookeville and down to Chattanooga.

Already - the winds have become so bad that the dogs shied and begged to come inside the house.

If the winds become any worse - we'll need to step out onto the front porch and take down the porch swing. We've already had a couple of close calls threatening the living room window!

This mess could end up bringing out the red flags in today's NASCAR race preparing to start in Martinsville, Virginia.

Needless to say - it puts nothing but kinks in our hopes for a day of getting anything accomplished outside.

I'm sure glad we're not planning on ordering chicks until June. But this sure is putting a cramp in my side over not being able to layout the garden sections to prepare for planting.

Stay safe and dry! Thanks for sending out the email alert. I have not been able to keep up with the blogs much this week. Hope you are well!
