Spring Gardening Race!

Well, as you will see when you take a look at my latest two layouts here... we have been pretty busy. And we're not finished yet. But then - do we ever reach that point. Ha!

But it's a good start to all the chaos in the kitchen to come. Won't be long before I'll be canning and freezing for winter. So far, we have tomatoes, spinach, Japanese eggplant, jalapeno peppers, lima beans, green beans and cilantro!

Journaling reads:

It was almost like starting all over. We made a trip to Greenback for 2 scoops of mushroom compost after cleaning out the beds and turning what dirt remained. Time had been a factor working against us and had us racing to get it done while we could... in 2 days. Even after tilling, there were 7 big bags of planting mix added. I spent 1 more day planting, while Dwayne was at work, after a trip to Lowe's. I found these new tomato supports online and they arrived within 2 days!
